The boat and ferry stations are a 15-minute walk. All major museums, including Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia, the Mosaic Museum, the Archealogical Museum, the Turkish and Islamic Art Museum, the Carpet Museum, as well the Basilica Cistern, the Blue Mosque, Obelisks in the Hippodrome, Constantine's and Goths' Columns, and the Million are close by. The old shopping bazaars -- the Grand Bazaar and Eyptian or Spice Bazaar -- are an easy walk, too.
