LOCATION: Staying in this stylish hotel in Sultanahmet on Kutlugun St, you are right in the heart of two historic cosmopolitan civilizations – the Byzantine and the Ottoman civilizations. The Cosmopolitan Park Hotel lies between two monuments of these great civilizations; the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque which dominate the city silhuette. Two blocks away is the Million, known for centuries as “the crossroads of the world”. Most of Istanbul’s important museums and monuments are close by. The old shopping bazaars- the Grand Bazaar and the Eyptian or Spice Bazaar- modern tramway street-car, train,bus and ferry boats are within walking distance. The famous historic hippodrome with its obelisks is just two blocks away. The Marmara Sea is three blocks down from our hotel. We are directly across the oldest byzantine palace MAGNAURA which is being renovated. The Modern Art Museum and Pera Art Museum are at most 10 minutes by tramway.MAP. DIRECTIONS: From Ataturk Airport you can arrive by taxi , or by metro (subway)-tram connection. You must exit metro at Zeytinburnu Station to take a tram to Sultanahmet area. When you get off in Sultanahmet, you have to keep walking down towards Hagia Sophia Square, in the square, the Hagia Sohia is on your left, on your right there’s a park with fountain, go through the park towards the Blue Mosque then keep walking down about 40-50m as you follow the left hand side until you reach to the cross roads. Then you have to go straight and turn to the left, The Cosmopolitan Park Hotel is on your left. On your right you would see the Magnaura Palace under renovation. Also the airport has regular HAVAS buses to the city, taking one you have to contact the information at the airport. Our hotel has pick-up service from the airports. It is 20 euros up to 4 pax. You have to rezerve it with your hotel rezervation. From the S.GOKCEN AIRPORT in Asian side of the city, you are highly recommended to order a pick up. When you have problem at the airports, do not hesitate to contact the reception.
